How to access the conference venue

Sheraton Cesme Hotel Resort & Spa is located at a distance of about 1 km from the town center of Cesme in Izmir, about 90 km from the Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport. It is possible to take a taxi from the airport directly to the Hotel. Or if you inform our organization agency when you will arrive at the airport, they can take you from the airport to the Conference Center of the IMSMATEC 2018 – Cesme in a low fee.

Currency & Credit Cards

Official currency in Turkey is Turkish Lira (TL) ATM’s are widely available in Cesme, Izmir and you should have no problem if you land in the city with nothing but a credit card. Credit cards, however, are usually not accepted by most government agencies, public museums or other historic places run by the government. You may frequently have to run to an ATM and withdraw some cash to cover for such expenses.

Located in the West of Turkey, Cesme reflects the characteristics of Mediterreanean climate. Due to its geographical location, the weather in Cesme is an elite holiday destination with its clear sea, sandy beaches, historical places and windsurf. 

The spring season will experience a small amount of rainfall however it is not enough to hamper any sight-seeing excursions as rainfall periods are short and normally do not last longer than a couple of hours. The average temperature in April is about 20 – 25 degree Celcius, there is always the chance of rain.
